Managing Pastures Through Drought and Planning for the Future
The extreme drought of 2024 took its toll on hay and pasture fields across much of Ohio. Many producers were forced to make difficult decisions related to their operations. As we move into winter , it is time for producers to start planning. This workshop will provide insight into pasture management, discuss opportunities for possible operational improvement related to extreme or unexpected weather events.
